Ruud Brands is a molecular cell biologist, specializing in Cellular Biochemistry and Biological Immunotoxicology. In 2005 he founded Alloksys Life Sciences, a biopharmaceutical company developing the RESCAP platform for Critical Care Medicine Applications where AMRIF focuses to (unmet) ageing diseases
Herman Feil, PhD
CO-CEO, CFO
Herman Feil was trained as a polymer chemist at the University of Twente (MSc) and the University of Utah (PhD), and is co-founder of a variety of high-tech start-up companies in the field of agri-food and life sciences.
Willem Seinen, PhD
CSO
Prof. Dr. Willem Seinen held a chair in Toxicology at the Utrecht University for more than 20 years.
Ronald Oosting, PhD
Scientific Director
Ronald Oosting is a scientist in molecular neurobiology and psychopharmacology. Until 2015 he was an associate professor of Molecular Psychopharmacology at Utrecht University.

Pharmaceutical career: Merck Generics (Registration & QA/QC officer, Qualified Person); HAL Allergy (Industrial pharmacist, QC manager, Responsible Person (RP) and Qualified Person (QP)); Halix (as QP); ProQR Therapeutics, a start-up biotech company with a portfolio of Investigational Medicinal Products, as QP, responsible for GMP compliance and batch disposition.

Hiskias Keizer is a biochemist with a long history in the development of drugs and functional foods. He worked for about 20 years in the area of ageing and age-related diseases.
Marleen Vaes, MD
Responsible MD
Marleen Vaes studied medicine at the KU Leuven Belgium and was active in Democratic Republic Congo, Kikwit as part of her medicine study programme. Since July 1981 she practices as a general practitioner in Lanaken Belgium and started within Alloksys and AMRIF as principle MD. Marleen is also active in Nepal to promote health awareness in health camps Gahate, East Nepal.

Bert Tournois, PhD
Dr. Tournois Started his professional carreer in the research institute ATO-DLO (1989-2000) where he held various management positions, eventually becoming director of the Business Units Food and Non Food technology.
Ton Bolier, MSc
Ton Bolier has been active as a psychiatrist in mental health care for over 20 years. During his medical practice, he became involved in the support and management of startups. Since the late 90’s this has become his primary activity.
Frans van Duikeren
Frans van Duikeren has a degree in Food Technology (Wageningen UR) and management Consultancy (SIOO). Van Duikeren worked from 1978 until 2003 in the packaging industry, last fifteen years in general management in internationals.
Daan van den Noort, MD
Daan van den Noort has over 30 years of experience as a manager and venture capitalist in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry in Europe. His positions include being a General Manager at Genentech, Asta Medica and Ferring Pharmaceuticals.

Prof. Carrondo is a Chemical Engineer at University Nova de Lisboa, he supervised 28 PhD students and published over 190 papers in refereed international journals. Prof. Carrondo is founder of the Portuguese Academy of Engineering.
Anthony Hammond, MD
Dr. Hammond is a Rheumatologist at KIMS Hospital in the UK. He is a Consultant Physician and Rheumatologist at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. He is active in research and teaching and is Chairman of the Kent CLRN.
Fuhong SU, PhD
